Altaf Hussain goes on Hunger Strike

Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain’s bail extends

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain today announced to go on a hunger strike to lodge protest against the victimization of his political party reported by agencies.

Announcing his decision, MQM chief said, “I will rather die than bow my head in front of tyrants.”

“Federal government, Army, Rangers and other security agencies of the state are busy in targeting innocent people,” he added. “Rabita Committee will manage all the party matters after my death,” Hussain stated. He said he will sacrifice his life in an attempt to stop the exploitation of Muahjirs.

On Friday, Rangers raided Nine Zero and detained two members of MQM’s Rabita Committee.
