LAHORE- Pakistan Awami Tehreek Leader Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has strongly slammed the Punjab government over its policy of sealing all routs leading towards Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran Secretariat in Model Town Lahore, according to news agency.
Addressing the news conference at TMQ secretariat in Lahore today, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri said the Punjab government was committing state terrorism against his party workers who were trying to throng to Lahore from all over Pakistan. He appealed to the residents of Lahore to help those who were staging sit-in outside TMQ secretariat in Model Town.
Dr. Qadri said the government had not provided any security to P.A.T and it had also withdrawn the due security from former Prime Minister Ch. Shujaat Hussain. He alleged the government was confirming details of the private security guards of TMQ and P.A.T leadership and pledged to take the rulers to task after the successful completion of the long desired revolution in the country.
